How about Photo of the Week?
Ok, so my last post was titled “New Photo of the Day” and I thought that maybe I would try to post a photo a day. I should have known better. While I probably have enough photos to do a daily post, that just isn’t going to happen. So instead I’m going to try a “Photo of the Week”. Now that sounds like something I should be able to handle. Maybe even once in a while I’ll do a couple of new photos if I have a really good week of picture-taking.
I’m still playing with the extension tubes and today took a few shots of an older piece of glass using just the 36mm extension. It still allows me to get closer than I had before, and seems to get great detail. These were taken with a Nikon D3200, with a Tamron 60mm F/2 Macro 1:1 plus the 36mm extension tube.
I am still amazed at the textures and details that the camera brings out. So much beauty that has been hidden!
Finally back to posting
The worlds have been evolving.
I started this blog over a year ago, but then was so busy creating glass and photos that I haven’t been back since. Well, it is time to get going again. In the last year I have had one gallery show at The Flying Pig Gallery and Greenspace in Algoma, WI and have another scheduled for September at The Meadows Gallery in Sister Bay, WI. I guess you could say the photos have been well received. The photos are also now in a gallery in Sturgeon Bay, WI – The Greco Gallery, which is a wonderful co-op place with wonderful artwork and artists. Below are a few images, hope you enjoy them!
